International Students
Studying in a foreign country is a great adventure with many challenges. You might face new obstacles like coping with a new environment, new culture, different academic guidance and educational methods. Far from family and friends, you might sometimes feel alone with your problems. We want to help you to deal with this kind of challenges. And we are there for you if you want to talk to someone who is familiar with these situations and can empathise with you.
All of the psychological counselling services apply, of course, to international students. That includes those of you in the preparatory course of study („Vorbereitungsstudium“). Our counselling services are free of charge and strictly confidential. We can provide counselling in English - just let us know when you register.
For more information, or to arrange an appointment, please contact Ms Intemann at the Secretariat.
Our psychological counsellling center is a member of the "Round Table for International Students in Bremen". Here, you will also find other contact points for international students like support in financial emergencies, advice on legal issues and community events.
